CEP 811: Web based inquiry project
The Web Based Inquiry Project is designed to allow educators to explore how to use both the (NEW) and (TPACK) framework in their subject area. This inquiry based project is a lesson recreation using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Principles.
I designed this website as an interactive assignment for students to conduct research using the internet. This website includes: research tools, discussion forums, directions, outlines, instructional videos, etc. that benefit students as they research and create. All of these tools teach students how to use and explore the internet for educational purposes. This learning experience could not have been created using traditional classroom media. I continue to utilize this project within my own World History classroom.
CEP 820: COURSE MAnagement system
CEP 820 was a course focused in instructing teachers about how to use Course Management Systems. This showcase piece is the culminating assignment for this class. I was required to create a class website in a given subject area utilizing all of the principles I learned throughout the semester. Through this assignment I was are required to analyze how, why, and what I was creating using educational theories. I continue to master the concepts I learned in this class to benefit of my own students in my classroom.
CEP 822: Understanding/understanding
Understanding/Understanding is a project which required me to choose a topic and analyze how various individuals make sense of it. Through this analysis I begin to understand that there are many reasons why people understand things the way they do. These reasons could be schooling, experiences, family background, culture, social standing, learning styles, etc.
I found this assignment particularly beneficial because it provided me the opportunity to apply psychological principles I had mastered to a practical research project. I have taken this knowledge back to my own classroom and teaching curriculum.

CEP 800: 3X3X3 Reading Assignment
Through this assignment I was asked to create two videos summarizing chapters from the book Why Don't Students Like School? By Daniel T. Willingham. This book covers various psychological approaches to learning and education. The assignment provided me the opportunity to analyze and evaluate an essential question; what were the lasting lessons of this impactful book?
I found this assignment particularly helpful because it required me to learn how to create educational films. I continue to use these skills to benefit students within my classroom.

CEP 800: Dreamit project
The DreamIT Project was designed to ask educators to solve a problem they see in their own classroom and develop a theory to solve it.
This project forced me to apply psychological theories, educational theories, and technological theories to the learning environment I teach in. This project is the culmination of a semester of learning technology education strategies and applying them to a practical problem within my classroom. I found this project allowed me to reflect upon the learning challenges in my teaching environment. It provided me the opportunity to develop potential solutions to these problems using educational technology theories.
